This is the place!

"Mostly, it’s the loving community that makes UUFP the spiritual place I
want to raise my kids "I not only
found a church but I found a community and a village to help raise my
children."
"They taught me to think for
myself. Race, gender,
social class and age were not barriers.
Going to church was exciting.
"They taught me that Jesus was a courageous, compassionate man who
spoke his truth and died for it. They taught me that I may use similar
spiritual words as other faiths, but because of our principals I get to
define what they mean to me.

"Over the time I was gone, my military command called to check up on
her and the kids twice. The spouse support group called about every
other week…But someone from UUFP checked up on her at least once a week
even though we’d only been attending sporadically a few months. That
kind of support is just priceless
"I also have the UUFP to thank
for the many life-long friends that I have made and who I know will
always be a part of my life no matter where I am.
"Our daughter was in third grade and she started asking to go to
church. It struck us that religion in some ways is similar to sex
education—you don’t want your kid to learn about it on the street.
If you don’t want your kid to get the “wrong” idea or
“bad” information, you have to consciously teach them the “right”
things, and for us that meant UUFP Religious Education and attending
“church” regularly. "I can still say that becoming involved in the Fellowship has been
one of the joys of my life. It makes me glad to see that our community
is growing.
"I know of only one
religious community that can encourage [my daughter’s] individual search
for truth and meaning.
