Annual Meeting!
Are
you surfing the net because you’re curious about religions? I’ll
guess that you’re a seeker of wisdom, a dreamer of dreams, a person
who may not be “religious,” but who is spiritual. Our religion has
room for your dreams. We are companions to one another on the
spiritual journey, and we have some wise men, women and children who
are discovering that there are many ways to the Truth.
We believe in the free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
We have room for your beliefs – for many diverse beliefs – under the
umbrella of our principles and the living tradition that nourishes
our spirits. We have room for your individuality, your whole self –
brown, gay, spike-haired, lesbian, hetero, bisexual, pink,
trans-gendered, questioning, white, longhaired, black, beige, ochre,
magenta... (magenta?)
What I’m saying is, there is room for YOU here at the Fellowship,
and we look forward to meeting you.
The website can tell you many things about us, but there’s nothing
like a personal visit to check us out. I hope you’ll come to see us,
to make meaning with us during a Sunday service, and get to know us
better at the coffee hour following our first service. Our services
are at 9:30 & 11:00.
We may surprise
you – we often surprise ourselves!
Feel free to contact me, Rev. Beverly Boke, at 757-249-0215.
