— Rev. Andrew
Clive Millard
One of our hymns
reminds us that,
in our search
for elusive
answers, even to
question is an
answer.
In
religion, in
science and in
life it’s
important to ask
good questions,
but sometimes
it’s nice to
have answers!
So send
Andrew your
questions — by
e-mail, on
Facebook, by
telephone, in
person, via pony
express — and
he’ll endeavor
to provide
answers!
(Your
mileage may
vary.)
Special music
will be provided
by Tret Fure!
Next Sunday January 22nd: “To Kiss the Ceiling” — High School Youth Kurt Vonnegut’s short story, “Harrison Bergeron”, depicts a dystopian society, where “equality” has been reached, causing rampant apathy. Join the high school teens as they discuss the values and repercussions of equality and diversity as they relate to our Unitarian Universalist principles and heritage. How do we promote equal rights while championing individuality and fostering our own unique gifts? How do we build equality by lifting people up instead of pushing them down?
Each Sunday we
share our gifts
through our
collection.

New Adult RE Course
By Dr. Raymon McAdaragh
Beginning:
January 18th and continuing on February 1st, 15th, March 7th and 21st
from 7:00-8:30pm in the main RE room of the Sanctuary building.
Registration:
The cost of the course is $10 which includes a copy of Ray’s book on
Developmental Harmonization. Please see Joanne to sign up.
Dr. Raymon McAdaragh is an Aerospace Research Psychologist currently
employed with NASA under contract, conducting Human-System Integration
research for Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
Developmental Harmonization: Course Description This course describes a process that a group or an individual may follow to achieve a state of Psychic Harmonization (a state of physical, psychological and spiritual harmony). In this state, an individual may discover his or her intended path and purpose in life. Practicing the exercises associated with the Developmental Harmonization process also provides the many health-related benefits associated with meditation and physical exercise. This is something virtually missing in other books on meditation. The techniques are presented in an easily-understandable, practical application that may be practiced by anyone interested in the harmonization of our human condition. During the course, participants will cover the development of the ten objectives of the Developmental Harmonization process, and learn meditative exercises to address each objective. January 20
